Welcome to Lumi Academy, operated by YourSpace LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Lumi Academy app or website at lumi-learning.web.app, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Who Can Use Lumi Academy

Lumi Academy is designed for children ages 5–14 under the supervision of a parent or guardian. Accounts must be created by a parent or guardian who is at least 18 years old. By creating an account, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of any child using the service.

2. Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• One account may be used for multiple children in the same household

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Lumi Academy offers the following plans:

• 48-Hour Free Trial — no charge, no credit card required. Full access for 48 hours.
• Monthly — $29.99 per month, up to 8 learner profiles
• Annual — $99.00 per year (approx. $8.25/mo) — all features, up to 8 learner profiles

All payments are processed securely through Square. We do not store your payment card information. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. To cancel, contact us at hello@yourspacesocial.com.

4. Refund Policy

All sales are final. Refunds are issued only where required by applicable law. If you believe you are entitled to a refund under the laws of your jurisdiction, contact us at hello@yourspacesocial.com and we will review your request.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Share your account login with people outside your household
• Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute any part of Lumi Academy
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service

6. Intellectual Property

All content in Lumi Academy including lessons, characters, graphics, and curriculum is owned by YourSpace LLC and protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce or distribute any content without our written permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Lumi Academy is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your specific educational requirements.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, YourSpace LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Lumi Academy.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email. Continued use of Lumi Academy after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the jurisdiction where YourSpace LLC operates.
