Nevada Homeschool Overview
Nevada's homeschool law (NRS 392.070) allows parents to homeschool their children with minimal state oversight. Families file an annual Notice of Intent with their school district, cover the required subjects, and are otherwise free to choose their own curriculum and schedule.

- Annual Notice of Intent filed with school district within 10 business days of starting
- No testing required by the state
- No curriculum approval required
- No portfolio submission required
- Required subjects must be covered (see below)
- Compulsory age: 7–17 years old
