Quick Summary: Lumi Academy is operated by parents for children. Accounts are created and controlled exclusively by parents or legal guardians. We do not collect personal information directly from children, display advertising, or sell any data. All educational records belong to you and can be deleted at any time.

1. About Lumi Academy

Lumi Academy ("we," "us," or "our") is an interactive K–8 homeschool curriculum platform operated by YourSpace LLC. The service is available at lumi-learning.web.app. Lumi Academy serves children ages 2–14 exclusively through parent- or guardian-managed accounts.

2. Children's Privacy — COPPA Compliance

The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and our own values require that we protect children's privacy with the highest care. Here is exactly how we comply:

2.1 Who Creates Accounts

Only parents or legal guardians may create Lumi Academy accounts. No child under age 13 (or any age) may register independently. When you create an account, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of any child learner profiles you add.

2.2 Verifiable Parental Consent

We obtain verifiable parental consent before any information is collected in connection with a child's educational activity. By creating a parent account and adding a child profile, you provide consent for us to collect and use the educational data described in this policy. You may withdraw consent at any time by requesting account deletion (see Section 5).

2.3 Information We Collect About Children

We do not use third-party tracking cookies, behavioral advertising pixels, or cross-site tracking technologies. Firebase Analytics may collect anonymized, aggregated usage data (no personal identifiers) for service improvement.
