Connecticut Homeschool Overview
Connecticut's compulsory education statute (C.G.S. § 10-184) allows parents to educate their children at home as long as the instruction is "equivalent" to the public school curriculum and covers required subjects. Families must provide annual written notice to the local superintendent or Board of Education. No standardized testing is required by the state.
